Depending on your budget, energy, time constraints, you can also take a look at the HAU MBA... and many more, like WGU MBA if you want to get it done faster...

Give Amberton a look. They have a variety of MBA programs. All of my exams were open book. There is no proctoring. There are not a lot of exams because it's grad school. Mostly papers/projects depending on the course and professor. I did the MBA in Strategic Leadership and had a lot of freedom in the courses I selected. There were a few required courses, but most of my courses were up to me. I wasn't required to take any accounting, financial, HR, marketing, or economics courses. Amberton is $300 per credit plus a few fees (I think around $25 per term). They have 4 10 week terms a year. Nothing is due on holidays which is nice. Other programs such as CSU Global have deadlines on holidays with zero leeway. That was fun 4th of July weekend!

Thank you, I will definitely give Amberton a look and add it to my list of potentials!  I like that it's a brick and mortar school.  Currently I'm also considering:

Georgia Southwestern (moving to GA next month also)
Arkansas State
LSU Shrevport
Henderson State
Southeastern Oaklahoma State

I like the speed with which I've seen folks complete the WGU MBA but I'm a bit put off by the "online only" aspect of WGU.  That isn't a knock against WGU at all, it's more of a personal quirk.  HAU is interesting to me but the total lack of business accreditation is a no-go for me.  I've heard they are working on becoming accredited but who knows when or if that'll happen.

Stick with AACSB as all the ones listed in your shortlist belong under their accreditation... PUG, WGU, TESU, etc all have ACBSP only, the one you listed first GSW should be your best bet as you're moving into that state, plus it's under 10K. I would do a search of reviews and see which one hits your interest the most, decide then.

Some factors to consider when choosing a college are:
Cost, time, reputation, program structure & requirements, faculty expertise, quality of program, location, and alumni network.

The University of Illnois has the iMBA program for $24k
https://www.coursera.org/degrees/imba

LSU's program is 12k and can be done in 10 months

Purdue Global seemed to have good reviews from DF members on their master's programs.

There are a lot more low-cost options now than ever before

All of them except 1. You can look at the syllabus before signing up for a course so you'll see what work is expected during that term. I loved that I could see who was teaching and what the workload was going to be before enrolling in a class. That helped me immensely since I had 3 or 4 classes each term.

If you don't want exams or proctors, definitely inquire about that! I know LSU (don't know about the Shrevport campus), there are exams with Examity and it was a nightmare.

Thanks. How many terms did you take to finish?

I definitely DO NOT want proctors for exams.  I had enough issues with SDC proctors and they are generally thought of as "not bad" compared to some of the horror stories I've read.

I completed my MBA at Amberton in 3 terms. I had to request permission from the Dean to take 4 classes per term. Based on my undergrad GPA, I was approved. I had to be approved every term.

Congrats again! So, we have to wait for the end of the session to receive our grades? I'm only taking 2 at UMPI and hope to finish this week or shortly after. Does that mean I have to wait a minimum of 6 more weeks to get my grades?
