Going back to school at 29 for CS with only freshman year of college completed
#3
Should be no problem with credits expiring. You would start with getting credits at Sophia and Study.com. Both of those are pay by the month, so how much it costs depends on how fast you work. There aren't any extra expenses, all of the study materials are included. Study.com does charge extra if you want to finish more than 5 courses in a month, but if you're doing that, you're probably saving money in the long run by paying for fewer months.

There are two ways you can go with the BACS at TESU, depending on whether you want to take a 15 credit single term to save money, or just pay an extra fee.

Fees:
$50 Application Fee
$298 Graduation Fee
$1635 Capstone
$500 Cornerstone at EdX
$3,354 Residency Waiver
=======
$5837

$50 Application Fee
$298 Graduation Fee
$4,299 15 Credit Flat Rate Term (includes Capstone and Cornerstone and fulfills residency requirement)
=======
$4647

Depending on what courses you pick at TESU, you may have some books to buy or rent, but they are generally not expensive.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)
