I am applying to San Jose State, Dominican in San Rafael, Samuel Merritt in Oakland & CSU Dominguez Hills. Samuel Merritt accepts ECEs, DSSTs, & CLEPs for prerequisites, but costs 4x more than the CSU schools.
Best of luck at Loma Linda.

So after months of waiting...and in the meantime my friends applying to the same program were getting interviews one after another...I finally found out from the office that because BYU-IS doesn't put "in progress" courses on transcripts, the admissions office had no proof that I was enrolled in Medical Terminology, Nutrition, & Statistics, and that was what held up my application for so long. I'm mad at myself for not staying more on top of things, but I had no idea that those courses weren't on my transcript!!!
Many others have gotten acceptance/rejection/waitlist letters already. I was blessed with the chance to interview--today! :willynilly: The department called me up just yesterday and said, "Would you like to come in...tomorrow?" "Um...sure!" Well, thankfully I'm not too busy this week, and the sooner the better!!!
I hope to at least get on the alternate list...I'm not sure if they've selected all of this year's cohort.
So whatever God's will is in this...may it be.

Well, I got my rejection letter...but it wasn't due to the fact that my degree is from TESC. ![Big Grin Big Grin](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/biggrin.png) The department had a new policy that required a completed bachelor's, and mine won't be done till June this year (not soon enough since apparently many other applicants already had their bachelor's). My interviewer is from the East Coast, and she reacted positively to seeing TESC in my file, and also made a remark saying it was really good that I had experienced so many different learning options (i.e. B&M courses, CLEPs, online courses). So, I'm feeling better about that aspect.

I'm so sorry that it didn't work out this time. I think that was an interesting comment about your educational background, and it would apply to a lot of us.

Somehow I missed that you got an interview! And I just read about your letter
Well, you didn't get rejected, you just haven't met the requirements yet, AND by next year you'll have everything on your transcript. There might be a silver lining, I think you could do some amazing things this year and REALLY bring it in the next cycle!!

Lol, I like how you made a distinction between rejection and not meeting the requirements. Thank you, I'm re-applying next year and we'll see what happens!! By then I hope to have more healthcare experience also, which I think should help.

I found it very encouraging; hopefully someone else might too. ![Smile Smile](https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/images/smilies/smile.png) I'm no longer "unsure" about my TESC degree! That's the best part!
