I found a page with German language quizzes from various sources:
http://eleaston.com/german-qz.html#tyg
Still can't find the page described earlier. Viel glück!

Joanna, if you took VWO in the past with the A-pakket (languages etc.), you should be fine taking these tests. Remember that they are all multiple choice and you will recognize the answer in most cases.
Great, somebody found a way to get credits for the Dutch exam! The only problem is that it is expensive, $390! Clep costs me $70 for 12 credits of French or German so that worked out better for me!
I am in my thirties so you can imagine it has been a while for me too since I took VWO. Live in Houston now but considering moving back home after I complete my Excelsior degree. Not sure how it's valued in Holland but I guess we'll see!
If you have a VWO diploma, that means you're used to independent thinking and studying and I think you will like the Excelsior system.
Good luck!

So, the lower score and 6 credits will do fine for me, but it's great that I don't have to study for it (at this point I either know it or I don't).
Ana
Ana, I think you will be fine based on your experience and the fact that all questions are multiple choice. Don't let the first section of listening and answering questions scare you, they are of poor quality and not always easy to understand. There are plenty of questions after that you can score on by reading. Good luck today, let us know how you did!

Christa Thanks for the encouragement Christa. I just took the French CLEP this morning and scored a 63. You're right, the listening part is of poor quality and sounded really muffled to me, almost like there was a sock over the microphone during recording. Anyway, another 12 credits in my pocket! hilarious

Well done Ana,
I wish I could knock out 12 credits in one exam like that. This will be a fantastic boost to your degree progress.
Congratulations,
Snazzlefrag

Congratulations,
Snazzlefrag Thanks Snazzle! Unfortunately I only *needed* 3 credits from that exam for my remaining elective credits. I only decided to take this exam last week, otherwise I'd have saved myself a few dollars and days of study time. I'll end up graduating with 9 extra credits. If I could, I'd raffle them off. hilarious

It's better to have too many credits than not enough.
If anybody asks, you can tell them that you got so much momentum going in your studies, that it took you nine credits just to come to a complete stop after you had finished the required credits.
