#1
Hi fellow forum members. I have been pretty much lost on the forums since completing my degree, I have been working on a on going project on a website called Geniuslectures.com It's a website where we have math videos showing how to pass variety of math subjects. College Algebra, Pre Cal, beg. Alg, and much more are on it's way.

If you guys can please like the facebook page too, http://www.facebook.com/geniuslectures

Sorry not to be mean.. but I have to ask.
Why would someone pay you $25 a month when there are places like khanacademy.com that are free video with 10x the content and online testing.
Or if they want to pay, the jason gibson dvds on amazon are only $20 each and you get to watch it as much as you want.
And have you been on youtube and searched for algebra? there are like 500k+ videos for free.

Not ripping on you as I intend to complete my degree from TESC too, but Sal and Jason are like math and science wizards with advanced degrees.
What is $25 a month going to do better than the free resources out there?

This forum is associated to instantcert and at $20 a month it makes sense, because the content is directly aligned material to help you pass a clep or dsst test.

Sorry just trying to help you even though it sounds mean.
DSST- General Anthropology - 52, Intro to Computer - 469, Technical Writing - 54, DSST Ethics in America - 59 (1996),

That's my question, too. You're going to have a lot of competition that is able to provide the same or better information for free. I would probably rethink that business model.

Sorry for the late reply. I was not trying to encourage people to sign up for that website on this forum. Yes it did sound like that, but I apologize. I fully understand people are signed up through instacert through this forum and find that guide valuable. I was just showing this forum that helped me through my degree in the last two years, what project I have been doing since I graduated. I work a full time job, this is just something me and a buddy have just put in place. I was just trying to get people to like the page on facebook as well. We are planning on going to brick & motar campuses through out the state of Florida and teach free math prep courses and at the end of the class we will educate them on our website. You won't believe the prices the brick and motar campuses offer for tutoring. But yeah we understand the competition and the free websites that offer help. That is still not stopping our dream. Smile

On a lighter note, those Gibson videos are the poop. I would have never made it through Calculus without them!
