"Caine was born on 10 August 1968,[1] at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira, New York.[2] He is the first child of Steven Allen Caine and Catherine Johnston Caine.[3][a] Steven was a fighter pilot.[5] He graduated from Hahn American High School in Hahn, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.[6] In 1990, Caine graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a degree in economics.[7] He later graduated from American Military University with a master's degree in air warfare.[7]"
