I must say as long as i have been a forum member I have never bothered to look at ECE tests. But the title of this one caught my attention so i looked at it and liked it. But did I read this correct that they charge $240.00 for the test?
So if i fail I am out of that much thats insane.

Yes, that price is correct. Plus if you want a practice exam, they cost $65 additional dollars. Nothing provided free except a content outline. I have taken 3 ECE's and need to take 2 more for my degree. Believe me I much prefer the DSST or CLEP exams, but if you need UL credit they are sometimes your only choice.

OP, if they offer a practice exam for this pay the money and use that as your study resource. The practice exams are very good. I believe CLEP has an exam that you could possibly find some feedback for and use those study suggestions and IC if they have cards for that. Good Luck! ECE exams are very theory based with lots of scenarios.

Don't know what others are running into, but upper level credits at colleges here in Florida run about $1000 for 3 credits.

How about we all find out what is going on in various parts of the country?

What is it costing in your backyard?

Can anyone answer what a class at EC or TESC costs for 3 credits (plus books).

Thanks

Theres a state college by me that costs $327 per credit $473 per credit for grad level and that is a brick and mortar.
Thomas Ed is 135$ per credit i believe or a lump sum tuition plan that they have. Atleast thats the way I read it. HMMM TESC CHEAPER ! Books im sure for a full load of 12 credits im sure is about $900. Atleast thats what i saw recent from a client of mine.

Thanks. It certainly is a beginning. Perhaps we can start a new thread soon in Exam Specific Forum area for this one too! Smile Now, if anyone who has actually taken it (or planning on taking it) will start posting some of the areas that need to be covered and their personal experience with it.
