Are all the exams generally the same format? How many questions are on the exams and are they multiple choice? What are the passing scores, 50 percent correct or 50 out of however many right? Any info is really appreciated.

Have you done a search for answers to your questions? Everything you need to know is found here pretty easy. Just take some time to look around the forum.

:iagree: Searching is good.
They are all similiar in format, but not exactly the same. Most exams are all multiple choice, but there are a few exceptions. CLEPs have 5 choices; DSSTs have 4. CLEP has a passing score of 50 on a scale from 20 to 80. But it's not only how many you get right. They do it differently. I forgot how but there's a thread about it somewhere. Old DSSTs have a passing score around 50. Sometimes its 46 or 48. Varies by exam. Refreshed DSSTs have a passing score of 400 out of 500. Same deal as with the CLEP. I'm not exactly sure how they arrive at that number.
