My former and my current church both have this program for prison ministry. I do not know if they offer any training, but wanted to share the resource if you did not know about it.
Completed:
TAMUC BAAS Org Leadership
SJC AAS Automotive Technology

From Christian Leaders Institute:
Licensed Ministry Chaplain credentialing
Chaplaincy Certificate
Chaplaincy Diploma
Associate of Chaplaincy and Bachelor of Chaplaincy degrees (from Christian Leaders College)
Their degrees are currently unaccredited but they hold Applicant pre-accreditation status with a DOED-recognized national accreditor, the Association for Biblical Higher Education.

Since you're working toward a Bachelors at Nations University, you may want to also slowly complete the program from Christian Leaders College above. I would 'wait' for accreditation and finish the last course or two afterwards, so you'll have an accredited degree...
