Strayer classes are RA, they should be transferable. They're mainly Liberal Arts and Business Administration courses, but still, many of them are upper level. Link: https://www.strayer.edu/tuition-and-fina...edit/exams

For TESU in particular, you can go to https://www.tesu.edu/admissions/transfer-credit and Strayer is there. Not sure what'll be available this term but it looks like Strayer also does CS classes in addition to the business and lib arts credits.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

It looks like I could take some accounting classes that I had originally planned to take at TESU and then transfer them over. It seems like a great deal.

Does anyone know if you can choose the courses you want to take for this term or are they selected by an advisor?

I am in the process of enrolling now, my admissions advisor says I should be accepted officially quite soon, then they will connect me with an academic advisor to figure out what classes they would like me to take. It sounded like they might place you to some extent, but if so, I will try to get an exception considering that I do not plan to graduate from Strayer. We shall see

I wasn't able to even see the course catalog until after they enrolled me in classes this term. So far I'm not impressed. I don't know of any other college that won't at least let you see what all is offered and when. I wasn't able to pick the courses. They enrolled me in very remedial classes so I'm trying to get them changed or see if they'll let me add something worthwhile.

Oh my, if that's the case, I might end up not enrolling. I got my unofficial transfer evaluation back. I'm not impressed. I have a number of credits that Strayer wouldn't fit into my degree plan for some reason, that seem to fit. For example, I have an RA calculus class that they put as an elective, meanwhile I have an unfilled general education math class that is 100 level. Or I have micro-economics, but apparently would still need to take ECO100, Principles of Economics. I'm set now to schedule my "15-minute appointment" with an academic dean, I don't have a lot of hope, though. Maybe I can just get a few electives this term and potentially a couple of their credit exams if I figure out they can transfer to my target school.

Note: If you're NOT going for a degree at Strayer, these evaluation that they give you won't really matter. The main thing I am waiting on is "What courses are available to take for the FREE term?" I still have no list of courses to select from! Does anyone have a list yet? If it's some courses that I already have covered with the Alternative Credit providers (ACE), then it would be a "useless" term. I am mainly looking to see if I can get Upper Level and Challenge Exams for cheap... that's all I am looking at!

If they make you take something dumb but allow you to take UL Challenge Exams that you want/need, then it's probably worth doing. But if they won't...

BJ - I couldn't see any courses and they just automatically enrolled me in the ones they picked. You are not able to select your own.
