Free Tuition at University of Texas at Austin and Rio Grande Valley
#1
A couple of months ago, University of Texas at Austin announced that every student whose family earns less than $65,000 will receive a full-tuition scholarship. They're using their income from oil. Since they UT-Austin is not big on online education, this doesn't really pertain to this audience.

Recently, University of Texas at Rio Grande Valley announced that it will be providing free tuition for students with household incomes of less than $75,000. This will be available for incoming, returning, and transfer students who are residents of Texas. They are funding this with tuition set-asides. This school does offer online undergraduate programs, so I hope that Texas residents attending online will qualify.
