Free Ethics Course
#81
It was not hard, and you can retake it if you want/need to, as many times as you'd like. You can go through the course itself, or just skip to the exam.

It is ACE-evaluated at 2cr, but a school can do anything it wants with it - from not accepting it at all, to giving it as many credits, in either UL or LL, as they want. TESC is giving it 2cr of LL. But it just depends on the school you're at, and what they want to give it at the time (they can always change policies later if they want).

Thank you for posting!

sanantone Wrote:TESC evaluated this course as PHI-379, so this can work as UL credit for the liberal studies and humanities majors.

If you're not majoring in business, you can always use the Business Ethics and Society DSST for the ethics requirement. You can also use it for the ethics requirement if you already have Business in Society/International Business completed with something else. There is also the Ethics in America CLEP. Otherwise, there are plenty of options for that last credit if you really want to use the free ethics course.

I think it took around 3 days for me. Don't stress too much.

I just passed this "cold" as well. I skipped the modules and went straight to the test. I took about an hour on it, because I read pretty slow on things like this. I'm super happy to have passed though as it will make my TESC evaluation look more filled out since I have less that a 1/2 credit that needed to be completed in a random section.
