For anyone who has taken foreign language through Straighterline/Study.com or any other platform, how did you like it? I want to take either Spanish or French (SL only offers spanish) and I wanted to see what options were out there and which were the most enjoyable courses that would transfer to TESU. thanks!

Study.com also only offers Spanish for credit transfer to TESU. In any case, do you already know a language and want credit for it?
If Spanish is the one you're looking for, I would not take the SL one, it's too expensive. Don't use Rosetta Stone! I hated it!

I loved Rossetta Stone and even though I am married to a German, that program is a major reason I know the amount of German that I do. There are also tests that can be taken to earn credit. CLEP, ACTFL and NYU have exams in different languages that have been used to earn college credit. For the tests, you would study the language on your own and then take the test.

I took one of the Spanish courses from Study.com and enjoyed it. I took the Spanish for the Workplace course, but they offer two more now, I believe. I am advanced in Spanish so it may have been a little easier for me than a newbie, but I don't think anyone would have many problems with these courses. The projects I did were graded leniently and weren't hard to do at all.
