CPCU (Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter) exams are ACE listed for credit. Most are worth 3 credits and many are recommended for UL credit. Exams are given at prometric testing centers and are $230 for early registration or $295 for regular registration. Current students and active duty military are entitled to a 50% discount on exam fees.

At the bottom of the last page it has this list (snipped):

Code:
EOR Course Title                                 On-Site Computer
Introduction to Property and Liability Insurance       $32
Introduction to Claims                                 $32
Introduction to Risk Management                        $32
Introduction to Underwriting                           $32
Delivering Insurance Services    (AIS    25)            $75
Risk Management    for Public Entities                    $54

How does one study for these? And is it really possible to take these courses/tests for the amount listed? I'm not interested in being in the industry, but always interested in expanding my knowledge and always wondered how the industry really works. Plus I'd like to be able to have the inside edge when talking to my insurance company. Cool

Thanks!
