I appreciate all you taking the time to respond to my inquiries. I will be buying a 2nd monitor so my daughter can get moving with the Sophia courses!

She can knock those out before she figures out which path she wants to pursue.

Awesome insight provided by you all.

Dooj

She doesn't actually need a second monitor for Sophia. Many of us on here had 1 monitor and did just fine. Sophia is open book so you can open the PDF tabs and flip through as needed. She'll find that if she reads the material that she won't need much of the content during the exams.

Thank you. ss20ts, did you do the BLS first or the BSBA ? I like how you integrated three business minors together and probably knocked out a lot of BABA classes in the process.

I did the BLS first. You can't complete a BLS if you've already earned a degree from UMPI. I have an AAS in Business Administration so I had a lot of business courses to begin with. I think I took every business course offered by UMPI except 1. I'm missing a few accounting courses too. I took several for my AAS and I'm totally done with accounting. LOL

I bet there was some overlap between your minors, which is great to kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I hear what you say about accounting! Great potential for careers but it is not for everyone. I thought I saw someone post they did a BLS minor but didn't have to take tax 1& tax 2 thought that was interesting. I did see some of the MIS and project mgmt classes overlap. Many options availabile.

There's 1 course which all 3 minors required. Then there's 1 course that applied to both minors. The UL courses for my second and third minor counted in the 24 UL credits required for the BLS. I also transferred in some of them from other schools.
