Hi, I am new to this site. I will be attempting the Biology exam. Has anyone attempted the exam recently? I would appreciate any feedback that any of you can provide. I am not sure how detailed to get while studying, how much to study, or the amount of study time a Clep typically requires. Thanks for any feedback.

I haven't taken that one, but I would assume it requires more prep than the average CLEP, whatever that typical average time would be. I essentially did not prepare for I&A Literature, and did fine on that, since it's basically a comprehension test you can't cram for. For something fact and detail oriented like Biology, I would give yourself a nice chunk of time, and go do some practice exams as well.

Biology wasn't all that tough for me. First I read an AP Biology study guide from cover to cover. Then I read the sample questions for the test and reviewed any unfamiliar terminology. My study method was a bit unorthodox, but if you're already semi-comfortable with the material, it'll probably work for you too.
Course clear! You got a card.

I just posted my resources on another thread, but try using "freeCLEPPrep.com" website, this awesome website (and the flashcards) and of course use the search feature for more specific guidelines and tips.
Best of luck!!!!
