First CLEP test today

What should I expect? I am taking the "principles of marketing" test at 12:30 ct time.

Is it multiple choice?
If I study the flas cards am i good??

How exciting! Make sure that you know what state your college is in - CLEP will have you choose where to send your scores based on state, so New York for EC, New Jersey for TESC and CT for COSC. (sorry you probably already know, but just in case!)

CLEP also offers a tutorial before you get into the test. You don't have to sit through the tutorial, and it is pretty basic, but if you're feeling nervous about the test format, you can try it out. It's not timed and you can take as much or as little time as you need.

CLEP is multiple choice with five choices and usually even on questions you're not totally sure about you can narrow down to the best two answers. If you don't know, don't waste a lot of time. You can mark the questions for review and come back to them at the end before you hit submit. I always took at least 10 minutes or so to 'warm up' in my tests and often times, the questions that I didn't know at first would come to me easily at the end.

Good luck! Whatever you do, when they get to the end, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR SCORE. I don't know why it's even an option, but just say NO!

:iagree: (with the two previous responses). Do the prepatory exercises, and learn the directions. (At the end of the test, I was able to get back to the marked questions, but I kept having trouble getting from the marked questions to the answer sheet.) Answer every question!!! You do NOT get penalized for wrong answers, so put something in. (I haven't taken stats yet, but even I know that you have a 20% chance of being right.) The very best of luck to you.
