First CLEP was a bit of cheating on my part, I work in IT so CLEPing the Information Systems Exam should have been a no brainer any way. In full disclosure, I do have professional certificates in IT and military training. About 4 hours watching some videos and 90 minute of testing has me a few credits closer!!
I scored a 63.
Next exam will be American Govt or Introductory Business Law.

You might want to do Management Info Systems and Fundamentals Cybersecurity DSST's also. I'm a big believer in grouping exams together by type.

Seconded! I took something like five different psychology exams all in a couple of weeks together - it's a much more efficient strategy than taking exams one at a time.
If you're taking American Government, you might want to look into doing Saylor's two political science exams at the same time (I believe they are Western Political Thought and Comparative Politics). Saylor also has a Business Law and Ethics class approved for college credit. Saylor's for-credit classes/exams are $25 each - the study materials themselves are free though. I know you have free CLEPs & DSST through the military, so you don't necessarily need Saylor, but sometimes it's nice to be able to get a few extra credits without having to make a special trip to a testing center, and some of Saylor's offerings don't have a directly corresponding CLEP or DSST exam.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

It is so exhilarating when you hit that submit button and see passing test results. Its always even more exciting to me when I walk back to my car from the testing center and think how I just got the same amount of credit with that test as I would have if I sat through an 8-16 week course that required all kinds of busy work and for a fraction of the cost.
keep it up...and 2nd the idea of taking the other IT related CLEPS and DSST exams.

You know, it does make sense to continue with my "strengths" and do the Management Info Systems and Fundamentals of Cybersecurity too! I think I am going to double tap and do the American Govt too!!

I wouldn't call that cheating. There are plenty of people with foreign language experience who earn 12 credits for passing the foreign language CLEP. I've worked in law for more than 13 years as a certified paralegal so any business law courses were easy for me. Many of the social science CLEPs were more common sense than anything else. Way to go! I could be wrong but I don't think CLEP was ever designed for crash course studying and then a quick pass. I think the intention was to be able to CLEP out of topics you already know. But, it just so happens that the determined can learn enough in a week or so to pass many of these tests.
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

With Am Govt, may I suggest History of the US I as well as the Saylor courses? There is a lot of overlap there.
What degree are you going for, and at what school? Others can chime in as well on what kinds of courses have overlap, making it very easy to study for them together.
Just a quick note: DSST Intro to Computers is a duplicate of CLEP Info Systems, so don't take it!! But if you're a TESC student, you might want to add the Computer Concepts & Applications TECEP, which while very similar, is not a duplicate course. And there is also a Network Technology TECEP if you're up for it.

So - welcome to the club!
I think adults are always a little excited by the exams not being as hard as they expected them to be (not that there isn't anything to learn, or that you shouldn't study....) but as a mid-career adult, of COURSE you're going to know what a kid in Computers 101 is learning. I know I had an inflated idea of what was going on in "college" before I started testing. Way to go!! Rock these out and grab all the low hanging fruit you can, some will be hard later- save your brain space for them.
