Oh, poopie. My advisor said I must take a IIC class or exam to finish up the major. (note: I enrolled at EC in 2007, before the "writing for the major" requirement was added, otherwise I'd have to do that as well) I've asked for approval for U of Missouri's Jane Austen Then & Now course - my obsessive love for the material overrules the expense.
Thought about the Idaho course on Shakespeare, for the heck of it, until I read the syllabus. Er, no. Good grief, no. One of the selected plays for the course is Titus Andronicus. That is one seriously messed up plot; reading the play once was much more than enough, and is probably the basis for my dislike of Shakespeare! (go look it up on Wiki, but not while you're eating lunch)
