Dfrecore, point taken about the plan change adding a bit more work. I've got so many different scenarios worked out on paper -- with FA and without, avoiding TECEPs, BA Humanities, BALS, BASS, and it's all blurring together.
FWIW, TESC placed my 2 UL courses with D grades as satisfying the upper level Liberal Studies requirement, but at the same time, I cannot have any courses in that area below a C. So, I'll have to take something in their place, anyway, right?
And yes, my cumulative GPA will be the same, but my area of study GPA is better under the BASS plan. It's marginal (3.12 vs 2.4, but it's something to me).

The GPA for Area of Study is the same for both degrees, because the D's don't count in either one. They put the courses up there, but then have <3.00>, so they aren't actually counting. I think they do that to show that you took the courses, but then show that they aren't counting because of the grade, so they moved them down to the Free Electives area.

So a bit of an update...
I finally received my completed evaluation at the end of December. Dfrecore, you were absolutely right in saying that I made more work for myself by changing to a BA in SS, so I changed it back to a BALS. I'll take my licks now.
Emailed with an advisor and I was able to place several tests into the plan, now I just need to finish them up.
Unfortunately, there is no way financially that I'll be able to finish in 4 months, but it's doable in a year. I don't think I have a choice, as I cannot keep wasting money and time with reapplying and flaking out. It cost me the ability to avoid the Capstone, and now with the university designation, who knows what it may cost me in the future?
Currently studying for DSST Public Speaking, CLEP American Govt. and Torah College's Social History of Jewish Food (which is really interesting if not a bit detailed). One step at a time, right?

No licks will be given - I try not to rub it in when I'm right!
I would suggest signing up for a TECEP here and there, to keep your enrollment going. Similar price to DSST/CLEP. Plus you get to take it at home, which I love.
Keep plugging away, you'll get there sooner or later. Good luck!
