Hi All...

In my never-ending quest to put off completing my history requirement at EC :p, I'm looking for the "easiest" UL DSST to finish off my final credits. I'm seriously considering DSST's Ethics in America as it has a 46% minimum to pass rate (very appealing!Smile)...Problem is I have already completed my Ethics requirement at EC with an ancient LL Community College course in Applied Ethics...Opinions on whether Ethics in America will duplicate my prior course would be greatly appreciated...

I've already put in a call to my EC Advisor regarding this issue, but like the Invisible Man, he is extremely hard to get hold of...Usually takes multiple calls over many days...Patience isn't my virtue, so wondered what you all think?

You would have to post a course description of the B&M course to really compare and decide. My gut instinct tells me no, but I'm not the registrar at EC. What type of class is Applied Ethics? What did you cover? Is it basically Ethics 101?

On a side note, that sounds like something straight out of Scientology. Tongue

It is hard to guess with Excelsior. Many times it seems to depend on who you ask.

Thanks for the responses Smile...The Applied Ethics course was listed as PHI 1600 - I took it over 25 years ago :p...

The only thing I remember about the course is that the teacher dressed like a clone of John Travolta a la "Saturday Night Fever" - styled hair, open-necked polyester shirt, gold chains...the whole nine yards...

My recall of the course's content is almost zero, but the memory of that guy is forever burned in my brain... :eek: :eek:

Nope, it's officially a no-go...According to my EC Advisor, DSST's Ethics in America does indeed overlap with my ancient Applied Ethics course.
