Hey everyone! I started out my college coursework in high school at a local CC. I transitioned to Louisiana State University from 2016-2017 studying Mathematics and Philosophy. Due to a combination of factors, I ended up in the bay area hacking together projects in C and C++ while working on a degree at TESU through tons of sources (SL, Saylor, TEEX, etc).
I've just got confirmation that passing CS402, CS302 and BUS303 through Saylor > ACE > TESU will fulfill the final 9 UL I need for my degree (might not be true for later catalogs) and I begin my Liberal Arts Capstone on the 26th.
This means that I will be done with my coursework by May 20th!
I'm so happy to finally be so close to this recognition. Each step of the way, I refused to give up because I knew all of the previous time and money I'd invested in this would be wasted, as I couldn't simply list "studied computer science" without a degree and expect it to boost my resume significantly.
I just wanted to say thank you to the community for all of the advice and to encourage you all to keep pushing! I'm within arms reach of this degree, and you can all do it too!
