It's a new way for high school students to get into Purdue using CLEPs

That's pretty cool. I'd recommend high school students take AP courses if they can, since they're more respected/transferrable. Then they have CLEPs as a backup option if they fail the corresponding AP class.

Not everyone has access to AP exams (or courses).  Plus, AP courses normally take a full year, and are a TON of work.  If the college you plan on attending takes CLEP's, there's no reason not to do this.
