Latest studies show that tea, iced or hot, does more for testing/memory than coffee with less of the jitters.
Good luck!

Best wishes on your exam! I'll be thinking about you. Please leave feedback; I am studying for it now and planning to take it in two weeks.

Just missed with a 49! I knew the IC cards backwards, so I don't think IC covers this one enough or it needs more detail. The questions were tricky though.Ah well! I guess i have to wait six months. I could take US history or Western civilizations to fulfil my required for my AA. An suggestions as to which one would be easiest?
I am so sorry!
I am glad that you have other options. I have only taken US History I and II, not Western Civilizations. I preferred learning about the time period covered in US History I, which seemed like it made it easier for me to learn the material. I am planning to take American Government in 2 weeks. Without getting too specific, can you explain what you mean by tricky wording to the questions? How did you do on the Peterson's exams for this? I am planning to try those next week. Thanks.

I got a 50% on a peterson about a week ago but I studied A LOT since then and felt I knew everything well. I felt the IC cards covered a lot of what came up but there seemed to be more details about particular events that happened etc. I only missed by 1 point so I was close but also people have posted on here that this is one of the tricky ones(not to scare you, but its good to know)

I am sure this hurts, but I really appreciate that you can use your experience to help me and the rest of the forum members.

Don't feel too bad, the AmGov exam is one of those exams that no one really seems to do abundantly well on.
Oh sure a "pass is a pass" however many students have walked out of an AmGov exam feeling shocked that they didn't score as well as they thought or even failed.
