An e-mail from USF mentioned that over 50,000 people have already registered. Completion rates for similar free online programs average between 3-12%... can DegreeForum users help raise this percentage? Registration ends on March 24.

I almost didn't complete the last one... but I went in and watched all the videos and finished the course at the last minute. I hope this one is better put together than the last one.

I forget, is this Asynchronous? Meaning, we have to follow a set time frame to get these courses assignments done as well as discussion posts with the cohort?

It's asynchronous, yes. You'll have 2 weeks to finish each week's quizzes or whatever else is required.

Just noticed the email to sign up for AcadamiaCentral for this certificate. FAQs for the certificate are listed here: https://www.usf.edu/business/certificate...n/faq.aspx
If you need CEUs, it qualifies for 1.4 CEUs.

They've offered 3 free certificates in the last year. I don't know if this will be a regular occurrance, but it's starting to look like it.

When I saw this last night, I did fill in the Google Form that was to let me know of future offerings. I JUST got an email that a few spots opened up.

They changed the program up a bit. It was still seven weeks but they gave until May 19 to finish all seven quizzes. You can access all the material from prior weeks. The videos dropped every Wednesday but you could watch anytime.
Quizzes were not terribly difficult.

Finished the last video and quiz last night. Those were loooooong videos! Most went over the 2 hours that they allotted, too. Our certificates and badges will be emailed to us in June.
