YAY!!!! Glad to hear it!! Smile

For the general ed stuff, I recommend just looking over the master list to see which requirements interest you most. In most subjects you will have a choice or two so I would start off with what you like first.

For the biz subjects, I am pretty sure that I have almost everything that you need in my signature, but even then you have options. I chose Straighterline for both of my accounting classes and I would do that again if I had to. It's cheap and there are only 6 exams in each SL accounting course (unlike the 20 in macroecon lol) so, if you can learn the material relatively quickly, it shouldn't take you too long to get through those.

The liberal arts and free electives part is easy and fun. Just look at the master list and you'll see what counts as a liberal art. You can pick ANYTHING that qualifies as liberal art.

For general electives, this can be absolutely anything whether or not it is considered liberal arts. So, if you have a bunch of extra liberal arts credits, they will roll over into 'extra.' Or, you can do a test that interests you or is easy to fulfill these credits. I ended up needing a couple of extra credits at the very end and took Intro to Law Enforcement. It was very easy and interesting.

These are just a few suggestions. I am happy to help, but I'm on the road this week so my access is spotty. I'm sure that Rebel100 will be on here at some point to add his two cents. Smile

Thanks so much for your quick response, this forum is so helpful it's very inspiring to see...

A few questions:

Did I get these 4 test/classes matched up correctly:

1) Chemistry - CLEP - 6 Credits
2) Financial Accounting - CLEP - 3 Credits
3) Principles of Finance - DSST - 3 Credits
4) Organizational Behavior - DSST - 3 Credits

I'm not sure what test I'm supposed to take for these 2:

1) PHL 485
2) ITE 101

Do electives overlap with requirements - For example, if I take a required business course will it also count as a business elective... or would I have to take completely different classes for all electives?

How long did it take you to get it back?

I'm sure you've posted it before, but which master list are you referring to for the liberal arts options. I am looking at the equivalencies and I dont understand how to determine what qualifies. I'm trying to determine a concentration for a BALA w/ COSC and I still don't quite understand how to determine which courses would satisfy the final UL electives. I'm trying to determine the path of least resistance since I have no burning preferences.

Here is the Master List: http://www.charteroak.edu/Current/Academ...r-list.pdf

The list will contain letter codes as to which category the tests fall in and the letter codes can be found here: General ed codes

Here's another link about the general ed requirements that will show a bit more detail about each area: General Education Requirements at Charter Oak State College

Your degree = Concentration + General ed requirements + free electives.

Hope this helps!

I spoke to COSC today and they told me to get my 'Official' Plan done, I need to enroll. The current evaluation hasn't been done by my academic advisor. And my academic advisor is the one who can officially tell me which test lines up with which course. And I could be wasting my time if I start testing without getting the Cornerstone done. Is this accurate?
