FEMA accepted "raw" by Penn Foster?

I am attempting to determine if Penn Foster takes RAW Fema credit.

My current plan is to go to Red Rocks online as they will take 45 credits worth; however, it's kind of pricey. If I can do the same thing at Penn Foster for just over $1,000 for an entire semester that would be better for me as my parents are filthy rich and so I get no aid from them or the government. Set price = good.

When I called Penn Foster they indicated they would not review past experience or credit until after I enrolled... madness! I'm too poor to gamble away money.

Aditionally, if they will put it on a transcript will they let me take just one class to transfer it all in or do I need to complete the semester? If I can have the security of having all my credit on an actual college transcript I would feel much better even if I have trouble finnishing now.

If anybody has a damn clue about this I would be very grateful!

PS. I am not worried about transferability at this time, so I need no caution as to the National acredation(sp) of Penn Foster.

Can't speak for any other community colleges, but I can definitely state that mine would not take the raw FEMA credits when I tried to transfer them directly. The records advisor informed me that even having them transcribed by Frederick CC would probably not get me any credits through my local community college. Their policy is to get credit it must match a course they teach on campus. Nothing matched according to the records advisor. Glad I didn't spend the money to have them transcribed for nought.

I guess I'm kind of wondering if a nationally acredited school like Penn Foster may have laxer policies than a regionally acredited one because I know Red Rocks (a regionally acredited school) is an exception.

But if anybody has specifics on Penn Foster that would be great. I suppose this is the ultimate in specific and unusual questions.

Nope, Penn Foster wouldn't accept any of my FEMA credits. They're very strict on transferring credits, and they're programs don't have "free electives" so I don't think they'd take the credits at all.

Well I guess if you are as cheap as they are you have to be strict with trasfers, otherwise you won't make any money.
