An earlier post mentioned Clovis Community College, and I've been checking our their courses and considering taking a couple. Their rate is $113 for up to six credits per semester in fall and spring and $113 for up to seven credits during the summer. They also schedule courses during half-semesters.
Your College Search Solution: Clovis Community College, Clovis, New Mexico FWIW, their online science courses (Biology, A & P, Chemistry) include a lab portion to total four credits with the class, though I don't know how that is delivered. They also offer a one-credit English course and Intermediate Algebra is four credits, which might be useful for someone who needs to even up general education credits for a conversion from quarter hours to semester hours. I haven't included fees or looked at the textbook costs; for equivalent courses, it might be tough to beat Penn Foster. Hope this helps! Sandy

Can anyone tell me if Penn Foster is on the quarter hour system or the semester hour system?
Thanks. From a loyal degree seeker, Marshall

PFC is on the Semester hour units, not quarter hours.
They are hard to beat for the money, but they can be a pain in the but, I just finished their ENG class and it was pretty irritating for me to complete it, under a month. |
