Does anybody know if there is a way to expedite the process of CLEP sending its reports to the receiving schools? I know that for DSST it is possible for the scores to be "rushed." I think it takes about 2 weeks for Excelsior to receive the score report from CLEP. I would like to know since I'm scheduled to take CLEP College Algebra (my final requirement prior to degree completion, yey!) and I'd like Excelsior to receive the results the soonest possible time so I can make it in time for their next degree conferral.
Also, does anyone know if EC accepts the unofficial score report we get from the test center or maybe a verbal confirmation from CLEP that the student passed the exam? Highly unlikely, but I guess it never hurts to ask

[SIZE="2"]I'm not exactly sure if that is possible, but I do know that EC will (within a small flexible window) submit a students "completed" profile to the review committee for graduation consideration. If you are concerned about making the cut off date for the July commencement, you have plenty of time; that cut off date is in May.[/SIZE]

Excelsior's next three conferral dates are
April 20, 2007
May 18, 2007
June 15, 2007
If you are taking college algebra between now and the first of April you should be ok for the April conferral. EC has always received my clep scores exactly one week after I take the exam.

S%$t! I did not know the cut off date for the July commencement was in May. I wanted to complete my BSLS and walk in July.

Thanks Brian and Don for your responses! I'm shooting for the April 20th conferral and I'm scheduled to take College Algebra on Monday. I'm not a math person, and I've been dreading and putting off this exam for months now! Thanks for your input! I'll let the forum know what happens on Monday...
