Excelsior vs. UNwsp Liberal Arts Math
#1
Has anyone had any experience taking the lowest math class possible with these two colleges? I'm currently looking for an individual course (no enrollment) for the easiest math classes I can take in order to fulfill my CCAF since my bachelors math credit is already fulfilled (ALEKS). It's currently looking like "Excelsior's - Mathematics for Everyday Life" and "University of Northwestern Saint Paul - Mathematics for the Liberal Arts" are about the easiest I can find. Does anyone have any information or preference on either of these schools? I'm leaning towards UNWSP because it's at least North Central accreditation, and if I was to get out my schools back home at North Central even though this college class would probably not amount to anything more then an elective.

Thank you immensely for any help that anyone can provide. And yes I have thought about the College Mathematics Clep, but personally I do not think I can take it and pass it at this point. Maybe some common sense refresher with this class may help in order to pass it once one of these classes is complete.

I was able to test out of Statistics for my AAS using DSST. That would probably be the easiest. Also TESC has the Applied Liberal Arts Mathematics TECEP that is accepted by CCAF.
CLEPS Passed: 10 DSST Passed: 11 TECEPS: 1

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
