Excelsior vs TESC - Marketing? Dual Degree? Halp :(

I just passed my first Saylor exam (Intro to Marketing, woohoo!) and I'm trying to figure out my next move.

I like the Dual Degree track to get an MBA at Excelsior, but I can't find a lot of info on it. Do we know if this is test-out-able? Is there any benefit to going with Excelsior, or should I just stick with TESC like I originally planned?

The masters at EC requires their classes and is very expensive. I would stick with TESC and find an affordable masters program after finishing.

I don't see anything special about the dual-degree track at EC. If you compare the regular business degree with the dual-degree undergrad portion, they are almost exactly the same, with some extra requirements that are not test-outable (International Econ is one). Also, there are courses that they say "must be taken within the last 10 years with a B or better". This rules out testing for Quantitative Methods (the Uexcel exam is a different name & course number) and Marketing (their Uexcel exam is a LL course). So it's actually harder and more expensive to get the BS portion of the degree.

Also, EC's capstone for business is 6 units (double the cost), and with TESC you can still test out of the business capstone (Strategic Management).

With both, after you get your BS, you still basically have the same courses to complete for the MBA. I am getting my BSBA at TESC, I will worry about my MBA/Master's after I have that piece of paper in hand! And actually, this forum has plenty of less expensive options to get your MBA/Master's than either TESC or EC.
