Please except my apologies if this has been addressed before, but I did do a forum search and couldn't seem to find the info I needed.
Here is my situation:
I have a Liberal Arts associates degree from one of Excelsior's academic partners (total 60 credits).
I have an additional 27 community college level credits in Information Technology with a concentration in Web Development.
I also have an upper level 3 credit English course from a 4 year college.
This gives me a total of 90 (hopefully) transfer credits at this time.
On the Excelsior web site it says that they accept up to 105 community college credits.
I am interested in the Computer Technologies BS degree. It looks like the least amount of credits I would need to take through Excelsior would be 12. This would include 1 capstone course and 3 upper level technology courses.
It would make much more sense financially for me to complete as many credits at community college level. However, here comes the actual question...
Does anyone have any actual experience transferring the total 105 credits? How picky are they? Grades on all the earned credits are well above their minimum requirement of C. All credits fall within the necessary credit time limits.
Also, if anyone has any experience with the BS in Computer Technologies it would be greatly appreciated too.
Thanks in advance for any guidance that can be given in this area.

I am currently enrolled in the BST at Excelsior. The Technology College seems to be picky about applying courses based on content. You will need to be sure your courses will fit in the Technical Specialty area and not just Technical Electives. For example, any programming courses are going to be considered Technical Electives. I am transferring in everything except the capstone because Exclesior is pretty expensive. Excelsior has an option for those of us who want to transfer credits in from multiple sources. The enrollment fee is higher, but it pays off in the end.
It will be easier for people on here to give advice if you list your completed courses in your signature.

You also have to make sure you have enough UL credits. I think Excelsior requires 30. Neither EC nor any of the Big 3 are going to give you UL credit for community college courses.

Excelsior only requires 15 Upper Level credits for the BST-Computer Technology degree: 6 credits in technical electives and 9 technical specialty. There are no upper level requirements in the general education requirements. The Liberal Arts degrees require 30 upper level credits and the business degrees require 21 I believe.

Thanks for all the replies.
On further review it looks like the Bachelors of Science in Liberal Arts would work better for me. It does mean that I will have to earn 27 upper level credits - 18 in Arts and Sciences (I already have 3) and 9 in Applied Professional credits.
The technology degree sounded perfect until I realized that it requires 12 credits of math. I understand for most technology degrees this makes sense, but in my case it is a bit of overkill and just not something I want to have to deal with.
This cancels out the chance of earning most of my credits at the Community College level. However, because my previous school is a partner I am eligible for greatly reduced pricing - with the caveat that I have to take at least 12 credit hours worth of Excelsior classes anyway. The required capstone class will make up 3 credits. Also, somehow it took me this long to realize that I don't have to be in the military to earn DSST exam credit.
My current plan is to earn the majority of the upper level credits with DSST exams, which will hopefully leave me with 12-15 credits that I will have to earn through Excelsior. This is still much better than the 30-60 credits I would have to earn at one of our local universities - and the tuition is still less than the local in-state tuition.
