I took this today and got an (instant gratification) 64. For those taking this test I would suggest doing the Petersen's practice tests as a supplement. There are questions on there that aren't covered by Instantcert, but you can't go wrong using it as your main resource.
Overall it was harder than I thought it would be. I had studied the IC until I knew it forward and backward but I still made quite a few educated guesses. There were 89 questions and you needed 46 to pass.
I hope this helps if you are preparing to take this test. Onto Human Resources!

congrats on passing! smart move using the peterson's tests...it's always helpful to use something a little harder to see where you stand. =]
and i just have one question for you:
i noticed you got a 68 on your clep intro to comp sys...what did you use to study for it? i'm taking it soon and i just used IC. i took 2 peterson's tests but i got a little more than half right on each exam. even though people say as long as you get half of the peterson's tests right, you'll be good to go, but my confidence isn't up there b/c i was making educated guesses most of the time. i feel like the info we need for this exam is very scattered. any suggestions/advice? thanks =]

You're right. The info is scattered, but instantcert was definitely my main resource.
For all my tests I've checked out the recommended text list and then looked them up at the state library. I have not bought a single textbook (that still amazes me!) Sometimes the library doesn't have the most current textbook, but it hasn't really made a difference.
For the CLEP Computer Info Systems, the info is pretty basic. If you have been working in an office for a few years, and have worked with a database, you will be halfway there. Honestly, for that test, IC is really all you need. My tactic is to take my time and make sure I know the material really well. It pays off.
Good luck. Let us know how you go!

Where can I find the Peterson practice tests? Are they for DSST or CLEP or both? Also, I was reading that there were practice tests on this website. Where are they? Sorry for asking a dumb question, I'm new. =)
