Hello,
I am fairly new on this website and I've been reading the posts to get some questions clarified on my own...with that said.. there's so much you can get as General advices go, so here's a more personal approach in hopes to get some feedback...
currently trying to finish a degree in General Business within 6-9 months (job promotion requirement) maybe it will be impossible, but I am looking at all the options possible in hopes to achieve it or get close to it as soon as possible.
My first choice was Excelsior, but based on the attached review I am unsure if I can make it happen. they are requesting 21 UL in business and all DSST exams are LL on their end..From what I've been reading uexcel are harder and $$
Any suggestions? should I be looking into TECEP? Not sure if they accept DSST as UL or not..
Thanks in advance.

One suggestion is to look at COSC and TESC as well. See which school would give you the most credits and would be the easier to complete within your timeframe. TESC is very transfer friendly, very flexible with UL credits. I think Excelsior and COSC are similar to each other regarding transfer credit and UL. There has been postings about Excelsior being weird with the English requirements. I think the uexcels are more expensive about $150 for some and up to $400 for others. I do not find the uexcels to be too difficult but I have only taken multiple choice exams. Each school usually posts charts for different exams. I think COSC and Excelsior might have this info on their website somewhere but I am less familiar with COSC or Excelsior. TESC has their own credit by exams, TECEPs, that Excelsior might accept as UL. There are quite a few business ones.

Thanks for you reply! I'll get in touch with TECEP to see what they suggest. I did see Sanantones plan and it looks achievable
I'm trying to take a exam every week, so far I've been able to do it. Started in Mid July with only 9 credits and not I am 45 and hopefully tomorrow will be 48...taking Uexcel for OB. I made the mistake of going into the OB DSST with only Principles of Management knowledge... yep i was a fool lol.

I would suggest looking at TESC or COSC because their business degree tends to be easier to test out of. TESC in particular awards upper level credits for classes Excelsior will consider lower level. I switched from Excelsior to TESC after paying excelsiors fees, because it was still significantly cheaper and faster for me.
If it was my money/time (it was not too long ago!), I'd switch to TESC.
Currently studying for: Still deciding.

I sent an email to their admissions department with the Roadmap that I have attached here. Waiting to see how will they respond.
Thanks for the reply! At this point it is all about money & time...not so worry about GPA - although I may be inclined to get an MBA :-) but thats a whole new issue

If you want to post the credits you have, we may be able to help with placing them in a degree plan for tesc. Their admissions staff don't tend to be very helpful.
