Hello, I was hoping someone here might be able to answer a Excelsior question (I know I could ask my councilor but I think it would get answered here quicker), does Excelsior usually use the grades that are posted on your transferred transcript to weigh your GPA or does it just count as a pass. Thank you for any help.

Yes, EC is unusual for allowing the transfer of grades. You will be given 2 GPAs. One is for EC courses/exams only. The other is the overall GPA, including EC-related grades and grades from transfer courses/exams.
If you need more details, this is covered in the Student Policy Handbook starting on page 38.
