I'm moving overseas next month, but I'm waiting until I receive my graduation packet before buying airplane tickets. My adviser said it could take 2 to 3 weeks to receive the packet and there wasn't a way to pay extra for faster shipping.
So my question for all you Excelsior graduates... after all your credits were received by Excelsior, how long was it before you received your graduation packet?

		Congratulations!
Please share with us more about your degree completion.
It's been 2 years for me; hopefully, you'll hear from some recent graduates, too. Everything was finished for my degree about 10 days before the mid-month graduation deadline. Then, the graduation packet was mailed (according to the postmark) about 2 weeks after the deadline. I don't remember exactly when I received it, though.

Congrats! My time frame was always about the same as NAP mentions. However, I do know for one of my degrees I did have a rush placed on the credit eval. which did speed things up a little. You may want to call the records or registrars office and ask directly if you can pay for express mail and explain your situation. I know they will send transcripts via express mail, so why not these documents. It may be worth a phone call because I have found that the right hand doesn't always know what the left hand can do! Good luck!

It wasn't that long in the scheme of things but I honestly can't remember. I was sent a nice burgandy folder with a 'diploma' thing in it. Sort of thing suitable for hanging on a wall and whanot.
You should have been emailed a link with graduation information in reference to dates. Don't forget to pay any final fees and you're all good to go. If you're waiting out for docs to apply to grad school, then don't worry as you can request a transcipt at any time, regardless of graduation date.
edit: Edited as I was in Germany when EC sent the forms and diploma out. Essentially it's just an 'example' to make sure you're happy with your name and you don't actually have to do anything strictly paper-wise to push graduation forward.

I graduated from Excelsior in 2009. I remember it taking about six weeks to get everything.
