I know they are not advance level but does anyone know if personal finance and principles of finance count towards a concentration in finance?

So this specific exam does not count towards a concentration in finance, but it can still be used for the overall degree. The 3 credits for DSST Principles of Finance meet one of the Business Core Requirements for "Financial Management", so this exam does count toward a concentration in finance. According to the Excelsior Business Catalog, the required subjects for a finance concentration are:
It appears that the upper level DSST Money & Banking exam is the only exam that will meet one of the above requirements. However, I am not positive, so you'll need to check into that yourself. Hope this helped! JoAnne |
