Excelsior & Eng comp w/essay?

Excelsior & Eng comp w/essay?

If I understand correctly, Excelsior will not accept the Eng comp w/essay CLEP. Does anyone know what will happen to these credits if I decide to complete my degree through them?
I keep leaning toward going with them, but then it kills me to think of "wasting" a 6 credit CLEP! TIA, Stacey

Based on their catalog, Excelsior will accept it, but will count it as a Humanities. So, it won't be a 'wasted' test, it just won't count towards their English Writing requirement.
