I have wondered about how to fill this requirement myself. I still don't have an answer. I know you understand this but others may not; Excelsior's BSN program requires the second 3 credits in writing to be upper-division. This eliminates English Composition II and Straighterline as an option. The information in the nursing catalog is a bit vague but it is clear regarding the level of course needed.
If earning an MSN is something you're already considering, it might be faster to pursue a BS in Liberal Studies first. You can accelerate this degree through testing and by other means found in this forum. Then apply to Excelsior's MSN program.
