Excelsior Bachelor of Science in Business Degree Plan: https://bit.ly/3NccxfS

All of the degree requirements are organized with the specific classes you can take to meet each requirement. It also includes helpful links, cost breakdown, tips that were figured out through earning an Excelsior degree, signing up for Excelsior and sending transcripts. Study has 229 classes in upper and lower division and you can earn 107 credits directly on Study, then finish the degree with 1 DSST exam, 1 UExcel exam, and 7 credits from Excelsior. Use the degree plan to plug in the classes you already have and to figure out what classes to take to finish the degree.

I'm 99% sure that you don't need 5 UL business electives - you only need 21cr of UL altogether (9cr of which must be in the concentration):

Core:
Capstone
2-3 UL courses
- you can do FIN 301: Corporate Finance instead of FIN 101: Principles of Finance
- you can do BUS 308: Globalization and International Management instead of BUS 120: International Business
- you can do BUS 324: Managerial Communication instead of BUS 113: Business Communication

Concentration
Quant Analysis UExcel exam
BUS 307: Leadership and Organizational Behavior
1 UL course minimum

Also, Study.com's BUS 101: Principles of Management and BUS 102: Principles of Marketing are no longer accepted by EC as business core courses.
TESU BSBA/HR 2018 - WVNCC BOG AAS 2017 - GGU Cert in Mgmt 2000
EXAMS: TECEP Tech Wrtg, Comp II, LA Math, PR, Computers  DSST Computers, Pers Fin  CLEP Mgmt, Mktg
COURSES: TESU Capstone  Study.com Pers Fin, Microecon, Stats  Ed4Credit Acct 2  PF Fin Mgmt  ALEKS Int & Coll Alg  Sophia Proj Mgmt The Institutes - Ins Ethics  Kaplan PLA

Thank you so much for sharing these degree plans. I am using this one and swapping in Sophia where I can. Since my son has no clue what he wants to do yet, we are going to loosely follow this plan because I think that a Business degree would be the most useful for someone who has no idea what they want to do. If he chooses a different path, no problem. He should end up with at least some gen eds and electives. Wink

You're welcome! I think a business degree is a great idea. Sophia has 5 (3 cr) business classes and Study has 75 (3 cr) business classes so you'll definitely find what you need on Study after you complete classes on Sophia. Study does a great job teaching the concepts in 5-8 minute video lessons so I'm sure he'll like that! Good luck! Smile

I'm late to the thread, but what does COOP mean for the Quantitative Analysis course? Is that the Uexcel exam or something different?

Wow thanks.  I'm only out of the education game for a few years and it's all changed.  I just looked it up and I think you're right.  Thank you.

Sorry!! Yes, Coopersmith. https://www.coopersmithcc.net/

Just fyi, Excelsior just said they will no longer accept English Composition 2 for the business degree. They want you to take their business writing class. I don't know what they will accept to meet that requirement. Hopefully someone else has a suggestion.

Hi. I know I'm super late to this thread, but I was wondering if you had an updated version of this degree plan or even a link to the old one as the link you provided no longer works. I've been looking everywhere for a complete Excelsior Business degree plan, but can't find one. I would greatly appreciate it if you could help me out with this.
