Hello All. I am taking the ECE ABPsych test on Thursday. I have used the IC cards, read the text, and used the SparkNotes sheet.
Is there any advice you can provide to help me prepare these last couple days for the test? What, in general, did they ask that you didn't know? What should I focus on and what not to distract myself with?
Any tips you can provide would be much appreciated.

Update: I scored an A on this test, but I don't know how. It is a difficult test. I felt like I was going to fail it on the first part, and seemed to get a little easier toward the end. There are 130 questions with some pilot questions (I think 30).
Some of the questions I don't recall seeing on the text or in any of the study material I used. I also used the two Excelsior practice tests ($65) but even then the questions did not come word for word from them. I scored 74 and 70 on those so I was very apprehensive about taking the test.
Put in the time on this one. There are a lot of disorders that sound similar (Schizoid, Schizophrenia, Schizophreniform, Schizoaffective and Dysthymic, Cyclothymic) that you have to know. Disorders make up the majority of the test. Analysis methods and who were proponents of them, treatment of the disorders, legal and community issues, and biology of the diseases are some examples.
Again, I used this site, the ECE text, Sparknotes, ECE practice exams, and other sites from the web to study. Glad it's done!!
If I can help, let me know.
