I am currently enrolled at Excelsior. I have completed numerous ALEKS and SL courses in the past 2 months. My advisor is fairly vague in regards to what will count towards my degree. I am just doing a basic BA Liberal Arts. I've passed Beg, Inter and College Algebra, Pre Calc, Stats, Trig, Behavioral Stats and Environmental Stats thru ALEKS. Now I'm told only 2 can be used?? Is that true? Completed US History 1 and 2, Western Civ 1 and 2, American Gov't and Environmental Sciences thru SLine. Will these transfer in? Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks

For Straighterline, this is the best information I could find.
Excelsior College Course Equivalency Guide | StraighterLine

With Aleks EC only accepts College Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry. Only 1 statistics can be used, and such is transcribed as a upper level credit.
Grad cert., Applied Behavior Analysis, Ball State University
M.S., in Applied Psychology, Lynn Univeristy
B.S., in Psychology, Excelsior College
A.A., Florida State College at Jacksonville

When I attended, Precalc and Algebra were considered duplicate.

I got them both accepted, I read on here how former students had them accepted. So I just went ahead based on the EC students here that had them accepted, along with my advisor approval, and they accepted all my Aleks credits (College Algebra, Statistics, Pre-Calculus, and Trigonometry).

Excelsior also takes Beginning Algebra. You can have up to 9 hours below the level of calculus IIRC.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.
83 hours of ACE-worthy credits
