That is certainly encouraging. But if Hamilton University is the same university where Kenner Bisch received his Phd there is quite a big story about it being a 'diploma mill' on wiki. If it is Hamilton College in NY then I take it back

There's a woman in my Spanish class that is a graduate from Excelsior. There are a lot of us Big 3 graduates out there.

People shouldn't worry so much about this. There are dozens of posts throughout the IC forums that prove time and time again that 99.9% of graduate programs don't care where the undergraduate degree comes from, as long as it is a regionally accredited school and you meet the other admission requirements (GMAT, etc)

I know it's only natural to wonder about such things when you're doing something different than everyone else, but in this case it's not necessary.

The good Hamilton College in New York doesn't offer the PhD. So this would be the unaccredited Hamilton University, the Hamilton University that was a major subject of the 2004 60 Minutes Wednesday feature "Diplomas for Sale."

I don't know why spammers do this. Maybe it's to get up their posting count before they actually start spamming, but they don't ever seem to get far.

Yeah, that's the idea. Web board software now often has new-member moderation by default, for instance restricting members with little or no posting history from posting links. So spammers establish posting histories! However lazy, unhelpful, or barely comprehensible their posts are. Presumably they're often generated by automated or semi-automated bots, and/or human spammers with limited written English proficiency.

I don't think graduating from the big 3 is nearly as restricting as a 100% test out route, which I don't think is always restrictive anyway. Thanks for posting those though, always good to see folks climbing higher!
