I spent 10 years in Europe (7 years in Germany and 3 years in England) as well as 4 months in Paris -- I did a lot of traveling while there and have been to pretty much all of Western Europe and even some parts of Eastern Europe. As someone else mentioned use Ryanair. They are based out of London and fly all over Europe; just check out their website. You can get tickets for very cheap -- I mean $20 sometimes, but they have very strict luggage size requirements or you must pay a decent sum when you go over the size/weight limit. I think my favorite cities are Paris and Rome. Rome is like a giant archaelogical dig -- truly unique from my experience. You really can't go wrong, whether it be a city or in the country -- Europe is charming and beautiful, filled with history.

Update⦠in case you have not heardâ¦England is basically like a soggy wet sponge now. My poor family was asked to evacuate about 4 days ago. Now more widespread flooding is happening in the central England area. Even the Thammes River in London has been overflowing. I would avoid England for a while until we know what's going to come of all this rain and water.

Someone sent me a photo of a kayak paddling up to an atm to get cash. Sorry to hear your all wet over there. We've had 62 inches of snow compared to about 8 last year. It the global warming I tell you.
