Ethics, essay question is not required in ECE?

Hi, I am going to take the Dantes Ethics in next week. At the beginning, I planned to pursue the ECE ethics examination, but it looks like VERY DIFFICULT and I don't want to have a grade "C" to pull down my GPA. Seems like Dantes is the best way to go.

I know that ECE does not need the essay from Ethics Dantes. What should I do in the test? Should I just leave it blank or have to write something on the paper? And, how many questions in the test and what is the time allowed? Thanks for anyone who can help me. - Nancy

I passed Dantes Ethics for EC , w/out the essay portion, so skip it!

1) How long does it take to mail me the scores from Dantes?
2) Does EC give you a pass or a grade?
3) I only used Instant Cert, do I need to read more to pass?
4) Is it a computer based test of pencil-and-paper test?

1) Instantly if you take the exam at a location that is computerized. Otherwise, the paper version takes 2-3 weeks (or longer) to get your score. Find a place that offers the test on computer!

2) EC will give you a grade on all but 10 DSST exams that have a new scoring method. The new ones need a 400 to pass. You can find out which ones they are on the DSST website.

3) Always a good idea to use multiple sources to study, but many people have passed using just IC on many exams.

4) Depends on the test center.
