It has been stated that the eo plan is going away effective april 1st. If the EO is the (enrollment option) it looks as though this will still be in effect. It notes on the website that the currently listed prices were approved by the board "NOTE: All tuition costs listed here were approved on March 4, 2016 by the Board of Trustees of Thomas Edison State University and are effective April 1, 2016. Tuition and fees are subject to change."
Am I wrong to assume this? Thomas Edison State College: Enrolled Options Plan

Not sure why you'd use the EO with the cheaper Per Credit + Residency Waiver now available. In most situations it'll be cheaper.

the per credit option looks more expensive than the EO to me.
$355 per credit vs 183 per credit (NJ)
I think it really depends on how many credits one needs or desired from Thomas Edison. If you want a GPA for graduate school, then you need some credits from them I think and that ups the price.

Yes, if you plan on taking a lot of credits there as opposed to transferring in, it'd be more expensive. But if you just need a GPA, you can take some community college courses for cheaper than both options. Grad schools will normally request all of your transcripts, not just the schill you finished at, so you'll still have a gpa to show them without overspending at TESU.

Out-of-State: Per Credit with $2k residency waiver vs. Enrolled Options
This chart is for those who would have to pay the $2k waiver under per-credit and will likely graduate within the next year.

I added the $2k residency waiver fee to the per-credit.
- Even with the waiver, there is a $300 required cornerstone for per-credit if you don't gain/regain enrolled status by May 25, 2016.
- It is 100% verified by the Bursar's office already that the EO will go away after 3/31/16 despite verbiage on the TESU website that may suggest otherwise.
- You need to figure out how many TESU courses are needed to graduate.
- Nobody really knows what will happen to old TECEPs under the new per-credit. Nobody knows what will happen with the old per-credit plans.

EO is going away. This is my TESU ticket on this issue:
Mr. TrailRunr,
The Enrolled Options plan is being retired on 3/31/16, and will not be available as of 4/1/16. If you would like to change to Enrolled Options you will need to do it as soon as possible. You can request the change in writing, we will bill the Annual Enrollment Tuition and Technology Fee, $3,427, and recalculate the tuition and fees for 2016XXX and 2016YYY. You will then pay the remaining balance by calling 609 984-4099 M-F 8:30-4:30 Eastern.

All worked out great with the new Per Credit Plan $2,000 Waiver for the June Graduation. Minus this option becoming available, I had planned (as recent as early March) on going with:
Enrolled Options Plan $3,427
Graduation Fee $323
Total: $3,750
With the new option, the breakdown has allowed for a decent savings for an out of state student:
Per Credit Plan Waiver $2,000
Graduation Fee $323
Total: $2,323
Savings: $1,427
(If I go with Amberton University and use the VESI Graduate courses ($285) towards my Masters - that savings represents a value of 12 Graduate credits with $287 left over for fun/me...who am I kidding - for my wife
