Hello,
Do grad schools typically look at non-regionally accredited undergraduate transcripts during the admissions process?
On these forums, it's well documented that taking a Penn Foster course then transferring that course via ACE onto a degree plan at a school like Thomas Edison will have no effect on the degree's GPA. At first glance, this fact seems to imply that the grade earned at Penn Foster doesn't matter so long as one passes the course.
However, Penn Foster is a nationally accredited college which issues transcripts with letter grades and GPAs. If a TESC student applied for a masters program, would the graduate school most likely look at both their TESC transcript and the transcripts from all "transferred in" college sources (such as Penn Foster), meaning that a student's Penn Foster GPA would likely be factored in when computing the student's composite GPA?
Thank you,
Ben
