I know there has already been a thread here, but i would like to get a recent update from people who have enrolled in this program

Wow. That first post was pretty old, May of 2021. At that point, I was taking my 3rd and 4th course in the MS in Data Science program at Eastern.
Since you wanted a review, here it is. I graduated from the program in December of 2021. I was working as a data analyst before I started the program and needed the masters to make the transition to data scientist. I started applying to Data Scientist positions in March of 2022. I used my coursework as my primary study tools to prepare for my interviews. The interviews all went smoothly, and I received two offers (both remote, both 6 figures). I took one and have been a working data scientist ever since.
The degree costs $10K, my original company had a $5K tuition reimbursement, and there was a $2K tax credit. This was easily the single best academic decision that I ever made, next to deciding to take my first computer science course on a whim.
MS, Data Science, Eastern University
ALM, Information Technology, Harvard University
AB, Government, Georgetown University
In Progress: MS, Computer Science, Georgia Institute of Technology (Projected Completion 2027)

Interesting. Would you consider the Eastern MS Data Science a better option than the Harvard ALM in Data Science? It looks like you also have an ALM in IT which is a similar program and wondering if that also helped you secure employment.

Great ! Are there due dates or is everything just due by the last day of class ? Are you allowed to work ahead ? And if so how practical / difficult is it to do that.

AwardTour is currently in the program with a couple of courses to go, a few others are taking the program as well but I am not sure how far they are within the program... Dustin from the sister board completed the program already, a few I have chat with indicated it's a very well put program, no complaints!
