Easier?? Praxis II Middle School Math or CLEP College Math

Hello All,

I know everyone's mileage varies when assessing which test is harder than another because of their background. However, I wonder if anyone has taken the Praxis II Middle School Math test and the CLEP College Math tests and can give me a comparison.

I took the Praxis II back in June and met my state's required passing score (141) with a 164 (did poorly on the written response, no time left). I thought I was good to go with my degree from TESC but I couldn't use my education classes to oblige my Gen. Ed. requirements. So I have to take the CLEP Math this monday to gain my 6 hours to graduate. Graduation/ Employment resting on 1 test 90 minutes long...ugghh!

Any info concerning which test is "more difficult" is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Jason, I don't have an answer for you but I just wanted to wish you luck! I am also nearing the end of my first degree and as you progress, these tests become more and more pressured as there is no room for failure. Let us know how you do!

Having taken the two, I would say that the Middle School Math Praxis exam is harder.
