EVal finished thank god. now what?
#1
OK finally tesc completed my eval.
I got 89 credits granted YES!
need 31 left..
What are some easy tests that I can focus on now to fill these spots.
I need 9 credits in Psychology electives
I need 12 credits to fill General Education credits
I wish ALEKS had more stuff to take. Big Grin Is there any other places online that do that stuff like ALEKS?
as for free electives I have 4 missing so i will knock out another 4 femas.
Then I need an experimental psychology worth 3 credits and a humanities for 3 credits.
I know spanish fluent will the clep fill in humanities? If so i will schedule that for this week coming.
Here is the thing I do want to take a biology class and a chem class but with lab. So I need to find somewhere that offers that by me because I do not think that online offers them with labs. I would assume they would go in general education as cook told me. So that would be around 6 credits together for general ed.
I was thinking maybe doing some Penn Fosters individual courses for the Psychology electives. Anyone know if this would be a good idea and if so do you have any courses in mind?
Sorry if this is a little of a ramble. But Im very excited now and heading full speed ahead. hilarious

Just an add on I noticed that Aleks has College alg with trig and Business statistics which i thought I completed but didnt.
Can those two fit in General Education credits ?
If so that is another 6 credits.. Or will they spin off the other ones that I already have and not count towards anything?

I only have a second, but I wanted to tell you go take a Spanish CLEP today- if you score over (60 or 63 I can't recall) you get 12 humanities credits! The first 3 will meet your requirement, but the other 9 go into your gen ed requirement!

I just noticed that they didnt take 3 or 4 of my femas that match the classes they do take according to a posting on here.
So i sent them an email to fight that. If anyone knows the fema to credit how it works. The femas I completed are in my signature. thanks
But then I noticed that they took only 4 of my ALEKS classes.
They only took college alg and made it mat 121
tey took intermediate alg and made it mat 115
general math mat 102
and precal mat129.
Where are the other 3 that i Have?
Shouldnt they go right into General education?

I have enclosed the eval they did so guys and gals can skim over it and note whats missing. thanks

I just have a second, but I wanted to let you know not to trust TESC's initial evaluation. They marked some of my FEMAs along with other classes as not acceptable for credit. You just have to open a ticket and request that they change it. I also had trouble a couple times when they added classes...it would mess my entire eval up and I would have to ask them to fix it. TESC is great...but you have to be informed and stay on top of them. Big Grin

You asked >>Just an add on I noticed that Aleks has College alg with trig and Business statistics which i thought I completed but didnt.

The college algebra with trig may fit in with gen ed's but the bus stat's i believe would fall under free electives as tesc ( I believe) records it as a business class(008 Business Stats) is -> OPM351 at TESC.
It also seems (Aleks 004) College Algebra with Trig is recorded as-> MAT121, but since you already have a course listed as MAT121 this could be a duplicate.
I would ask tesc before taking it, no sense in wasting time on it if it will be duplication.

http://www.degreeforum.net/62536-post499.html >>> When TESC transcribes your Aleks Trig course the link I posted could be updated with that info. I would definitely check with TESC about Trig and Stats for Behav. Sci ( I think they posted the rest of the aleks you completed on your eval).

I already sent them an email Friday about the Trig and other class finding out why they werent placed into my eval. For all I know they might have been. But I only count 5 in the eval. I would imagine it fell under dup's as you mentioned but still then wouldnt they go into General Ed?
Seems to be a waste then of taking them. hilarious
Anywho I also complained about the 3 femas that I found. For all I know their are more there that they didnt count but that is all I could find. All I know is if they fix my 3 i found then I need 1 more in free electives.
Then this week I will go out and take the Spanish as Cook stated and then I just need to fill my Psychology electives which I dont know what would qualify for that under DSST?
Oh yeah and that rechid experimental psychology which I cant find anywhere and really dont want to take at TESC.
 I cant wait till this is over. So then I can go back yet again Smile
Have a great Saturday guys and gals.

They gave you credit for Precalc for Technology as MAT-129. I looked on my transcript from them and my CC Trig is listed as MAT-129 they will not give you credit for both. I had a duplicate with a CC Sociology course and the Intro to Soc. CLEP. Since I only got a D on the CC course they took the CLEP and didn't give me credit for the course. I am interested in what happens with the FEMA'a I have taken some of the newer ones and I haven't sent the transcript to TESC yet. I may have to take a couple of older ones to be sure they take it.
